I was around Ranney Falls, as in I was in the area of it, so I decided to go visit the Ranney Gorge Suspension bridge and take some pictures around the area.
Then I got carried away and took a 360’ video from the center of the span, and a few panoramic images that help illustrate how awesome the bridge, and the view, are. The image below links to a huge version – it’s worth a look.
The 300 foot long bridge is located right beside Trent Severn locks 11 & 12, leads into Ferris Provincial Park, and forms part of the Trans Canada Trail. Engineers from 8 Wing CFB Trenton built the Bridge, with ground being broken on 3 September 2002, and the project being completed on 18 December 2003.
