Look what I found

An odd title for a posting but an accurate one as this is about some interesting things that found while walking around on a cold and rather soggy day at walking about on the trails at the Quinte Conservation Area. The trails wind through a former farm, orchards, meadows and woodlands – a pretty area with a past.

I quite like the interaction between water and light, the shadows and reflections that form and the ever changing nature of what can be seen, both by season, and in many cases by the day and even minutes.

Many areas have remnants from the past – it’s more likely that I’ll come across a piece of rusting machinery, a foundation, or a fence of some sort than a stroller or a tricycle, but here they were…
