The fish market

Kensington Market is one of the places that I frequently visit in Toronto – partly for the tourism aspect of the area, and partly because it’s a nice break from the chaos of China Town along Spadina Avenue.

Heading into Kensington along Baldwin Street is interesting for the variety of shops, and the chaos caused by narrow one way streets, a lot of vehicle traffic, and people like me who like to dart across the road to get to the next interesting shop – or to stand in the middle of the street to take pictures of fish markets.

There are actually three fish markets Between Spadina and Augusta on Baldwin Street, with the third being just across the road from these two.
