Crowe Bay

crwbay-01  Crowe Bay is formed by the dams upstream of Lock 14 of the Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site of Canada. The lock is interesting as it is on an island, with a control dam to the west, and a hydro electric generating station operated by Hydro one on the east side of the island.

crwbay-02 It’s pretty, but the rapids downstream of the control dam are what attracted me to visit.
