I had waited patiently for this train to start moving from where it had stopped, just under the bridge in the back ground – in fact, I waited so long that I forgot that I had a video camera merrily recording the stationary train.
The train was long. The full length video shows exactly how long it took the train to pass, and being a bit of a geek, I compressed the time scale of the video by 8 and then 24 times to demonstrate time lapse video. I left the sound in just for the fun of it.
Of note, this is not how I usually create time lapse videos – the usual process is to assemble a series of images into a video file.
