I had been wanting to get out to the Bevan area to take a look at an old car that was rusting away in the middle of a logged out area. Of course, I picked an overcast day where rain could start at any minute.
There’s a reason for the choice of day – no harsh sun creating a harsh separation between parts of the car that were well lit and the areas that were in the shadows. That and I’d rather hike about on days where I’m not baked by the sun.
Clouds, a nice view of the Comox Glacier, and I was getting some exercise on a fairly relaxing mini-expedition.
