An abandoned car wash station on Phoenix way, the access road to the site of where the Western Forest Products Ltd. Island Phoenix Sawmill was. That’s was, as in they shut it down, took it down, and took it away.

It’s within sight of the Harmac carwash. During the production of kraft paper products at the mill, acidic pollutants are released into the atmosphere – the car wash was used to clean vehicles so the paint and shiny parts would not be damaged.
